A copy of class procedures and rules (in your binder).

A copy of the current syllabus.

Textbook (I will specify which one(s).

Blue or black pens

Notebook paper – wide rule only – NO COLLEGE RULE ACCEPTED

Binder with dividers (at least 8) (labeled for Vocabulary, Handouts, Tests, Class Work,

Writing Road Map, Homework, Literature/Poetry, Notes

1 pack of lined index cards

1 9x13 clasp envelope

1 8 ½ x 11 white legal pad (may be 8 ½ x 11 ¾ ) (DO NOT bring yellow)

1 highlighter

1 3 hole punch (may be kept in your binder or at home)

Post it notes - 3”x3” (should have a total of 4 colors, you may split the cost with a friend)

1 flash drive (USB)

1 CLEAR plastic zipper pouch for your binder

English III

Contemporary Literature

NOTE: We will begin reading And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie. Please have this book (not the play version) by the first day of school.

1. Copy of procedures and rules, along with your schedule of classes, in

your folder or binder.

2. Reading Selection (You must have the current reading selection each day. Failure

to bring your book to class will result in a lower participation grade.

3. Blue or Black pens

4. Notebook paper – wide rule only.

5. Folder or binder with pockets and brads or rings to hold notebook paper.

Make 1 section for each of the following: Reading Response Journal, Notes, Role

Sheets, Handouts, and Vocabulary.

6. Post it notes: (1) 1 ½” and (1) 3” x 3”

7. USB drive
