Basic Information

Teens for Life is a student organization whose members support life causes. We sponsor and take part in several activities throughout the school year. These include: * Chick-fil-A biscuit sales on Monday and Wednesday mornings. The proceeds help fund our trip to Washington, D.C. to participate in the National March for Life. * Life Chain, a silent, prayerful protest against abortion. This takes place nation-wide on the first Sunday of October each year. Our designated place to stand is at the corner of Union and McLean. * The National March of Life in Washington, D.C. This is held on the anniversary of the Supreme Court decision Roe vs. Wade, which legalized abortion through all nine months of pregnancy. * The local Walk for Life. Members not traveling with us to D.C. act as hostesses for this local walk which begins with a prayer service and talk in the cathedral. * Blood Drives - we sponsor three blood drives each year with LifeBlood. Students 16 and older are encouraged to give to this worthy cause. * April Shower for Birthright - Each year we sponsor a baby shower for Birthright, a local crisis pregnancy center. Students bring in baby items for their layette closet which are used to help women in crisis who have chosen to keep their babies. We also make a monetary donation to the Birthright emergency fund.
