Problems with Software Compatibility

Microsoft Works programs are not compatible with our new Mac-campus systems. If you have Microsoft Works as the primary document or spreadsheet composer on your computer ICCS teachers will not be able to access the files your students submit to them for homework, nor will your student be able to access the files they save on the flash drives to work on at school. There is a FREE downloadable program that will provide Mac compatible programs for documents or spreadsheet composing (PowerPoint-compatible programs too). One important note regarding the Open Office programs, the student must make sure they "Save As" a compatible program: Word (.doc), Excel (.xls), PowerPoint (.ppt).
