Tennessee Electronic Library Databases: This is an informational database available to all schools in the state of Tennessee. Make sure to check Junior Edition or Student Edition when doing a search. KidsInfoBits and What Do I Read Next? are also excellent resources. The password is Elvis.
Scholastic: This website has excellent ideas and activities for parents and teachers to use with their children. It also has a great kids' page where kids can play games based on books and learn more about their favorite authors and illustrators.
Kidsreads: This site gives reviews of current children's books and is especially cool because it provides author and illustrator addresses (care of the publishing company) and birthdays.
Encyclopaedia Britannica Online: This online encyclopedia also has links to magazine and journal articles. It can be used at school or at home. The username and password are both iclibrary.
